The boardwalk is a mile and a half historic stroll along the Grand River and out to Lake Michigan where you can have access to walk on the pier. The boardwalk is filled with shops, restaurants and fishing boats.

Located in the center of downtown is the Grand Haven Musical Fountain. A perfect ending to a summer day spent exploring the town, the fountain shows run nightly. A synchronized light, water and musical display, it is something to be seen. Different themes are incorporated into the performances including a patriotic performance paired with fireworks on July 4th.
